Museums face a number of new challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here you will find resources for your museum to cope with these challenges and thrive during these unprecedented times. While it is not the same threat it was in the height of 2020, the pandemic is still ongoing and we will address it in the present tense until the CDC declares it is no longer an international concern.
Since the risks of social interaction have changed since 2020, in large part thanks to vaccines, we have revised our COVID-19 section in the Fall of 2022. However, if you would like to see the field’s recommendations as institutions reopened later in 2020, we have archived them here.
